Just Good Times

I had a really good time last night in Omaha. I mentioned the city because I haven't had a good time here in quite a while. Yesterday was Mike's birthday and quite a few of us went out to celebrate. The night was supposed to start at eight, but everyone needs to be fashionably late. We started at the downtown Old Chicago where the wait was an hour and fifteen minutes. The hostesses were real bitches when we arrived too. It would be one thing if they had no idea that we were coming but they had full warning. Anyway, bitching aside, we made a temporary home at the bar and a few over priced drinks. After being seated and slightly separated, we ordered appetizers to accompany the drinks. After two and a half hours at Old Chicago the time to depart had come. As we are waiting for the bill a waiter comes over to our table. His hello was directed toward me, I didn't recognize him and then it dawned on me. It was one of my ex-boyfriends that I hadn't seen in a few years. WEIRD!!! So yeah...we talked for a bit, exchanged numbers, and that was that. (Hey Amanda, does "holla!" ring a bell? By the by he grew up.) Did I mention that it was weird?! Moving on, after leaving Old Chicago we were off to The Max. I must say that I had the best time there. It was the first gay club that I had been to and I didn't know what to expect. Everyone there was awesome and it was nice being able to dance and not have to worry about some random guy trying to get you. Trisha and I love to dance as most people know. The music at the club was mostly popular music with a techno remix that just kept going. It was fantastic and we're going back! Hahaha. In other news a trip to Vegas was thrown around. Most people are 21 now and a trip at the end of the year would be awesome. KT...a lot of people want to go.
